The Tennessee Special Response Team-A is honored to be hosting the 2024 Glenn Thompson 9/11 Canine Sponsorship. This sponsorship was created by Kai Hernandez in memory of her late husband, Glenn Thompson, one of the thousands who lost their lives in the attack on our country on 9-11-2001. This sponsorship is also to honor the countless first responders and their canine partners who responded to the aftermath of that devastating attack.
This sponsorship will provide $1,000.00 to assist a SAR dog handler in either beginning or continuing their SAR dog career. Recipient handler must use the funds for the purchase of a puppy or dog suitable for search and rescue.
